🎯 Attractions

Attraction
The Siq & Treasury (Al-Khazneh)
The 1.2km narrow gorge leading to Petra's rose-red Treasury — one of the world's great reveals. Arrive at opening time (6am) for the empty Siq, or attend the Petra by Night experience.

🌟 Hodophs insider tipArrive at exactly 6am when the gate opens — for the first 30 minutes you'll often have the Siq almost to yourself. The Treasury at dawn in silence is one of the most moving experiences in travel. Bring water and wear comfortable shoes — it's a full day on foot.
Attraction
The Monastery (Al-Deir)
A 45-minute climb up 800 rock-cut steps leads to Petra's largest monument — even more dramatic than the Treasury, with far fewer visitors. Extraordinary views from the top terrace.
